Understand the effects of hair services
You have chosen and requested a lightening/ bleaching/coloring chemical service on your hair. To ensure everyone’s satisfaction and safety, we ask you to read and accept the terms and conditions of HAIRBEND THE SALON LLC AND ALL STYLIST(S) AFFILIATED. Bleach/color services can have varying results based on your individual hair, it is extremely important that you make your stylist aware of any and all processes you have used on your hair.
Please understand that the darker your hair color initially is (and if applicable, the type of hair color previously used on it) as well as the texture will attribute to the difficulty of lifting to a lighter shade and may often require multiple sessions to achieve desired results. Your stylist will attempt to lift hair as light as it will take safely (if at all) then tone and/or apply color as needed. If a client desires a lighter color after one process, they must schedule a separate appointment and expect to pay for that appointment as a new service. Clients must understand that bleach can strip the hair of its protein, and after bleaching services hair may feel dry, brittle, or mushy, with the chance of breakage, and that there will be more maintenance required afterwards–deep conditioning treatments, use of professional products, and regular trims–to help maintain the integrity of the hair. Additionally, going back to a darker color may not be possible within the first couple weeks after bleaching. This release exempts any satisfaction guarantees offered, as the bleaching process has very different results on different hair types/colors. The same guidelines apply for corrective color services in which bleach is used.
Recognizing the potential damage to your hair.
I am choosing to receive one of the following services: hair color/bleach. I have made my stylist aware of all the processes I have used on my hair and/or skin in the recent months to assist in their assessment of my hair in order to achieve my desired results. I have made my stylist aware of any allergies and/or medical conditions, including pregnancy, which may affect the services I am receiving. I understand that chemical processes may compromise the integrity of my hair. I understand that HAIRBEND THE SALON LLC AND ALL STYLIST(S) AFFILIATED are not responsible for any medical or cosmetic reactions you may have as a result of the service I requested. I understand that my stylist has the right to refuse to perform a service if they believe it would unduly compromise my hair and/or skin. I also understand that HAIRBEND THE SALON LLC AND ALL STYLIST(S) AFFILIATED have a no refund policy. I understand the expectations my stylist has outlined for me in regards to my service outcome and maintenance. I also understand that moving forward with this service may result in breakage, damaged hair, mushy/gummy hair, and may need further treatment afterwards.
I understand that if I have any pricing concerns or questions I will discuss in detail with my stylist prior to agreeing to services. Any services I have chosen to receive at HAIRBEND THE SALON LLC AND ALL STYLIST(S) AFFILIATED indicates that I am aware that prices vary based on length, density, texture, product usage, desired result as well as pricing set by individual stylist(s) under HAIRBEND THE SALON LLC.
HAIRBEND THE SALON LLC AND ALL STYLIST(S) AFFILIATED require at least 48 hour cancellation notice. I understand that if I fail to notify within the allowed time period I will be subject to cancellation fees charged to the card I provided during booking. I understand that cancellation fees are 50% of listed service price. If my card is declined or invalid I will not be able to book with HAIRBEND THE SALON LLC AND ALL STYLIST(S) AFFILIATED until my cancellation fee is paid and a prepayment is made for a new appointment.
